Is it really free to join the program?
Yes. There is no cost for any club to join the Youth Sports Partnership. All clubs and supporters still purchase their own tickets.
How does our club earn fundraising dollars?
Your club receives a custom ticket link.You earn fundraising dollars on all individual purchases made through that link.
Bulk club purchases still count toward experiences but do not qualify for fundraising payouts.
Do we need to buy all our tickets at once?
No. Supporters can purchase individually through your link at any time.Clubs may also buy directly if they prefer.
How many experiences do we get?
Every club receives one guaranteed on-court experience. As your supporters participate throughout the season, you unlock access to additional experiences.
What is a Club Game Night?
It’s the game your club chooses to promote. Most clubs select a single night where athletes, families, and supporters come together. All purchases made through your link (for any eligible game) still count toward your club’s rewards.
Which games are available?
All regular-season games except:
- The home opener
- Playoff game
- The home opener
How will our club know when we’ve unlocked something?
A member of the Surge team will reach out to confirm once your club qualifies for a new experience.
How are on-court experiences assigned?
Experiences are scheduled based on availability and overall participation. Your club’s custom link helps us track this automatically.
What if our club has a large number of athletes?
Great—larger clubs often unlock experiences even faster. We work with each organization to accommodate as
many athletes as possible.
Can clubs outside Calgary participate?
Yes—any youth organization within Southern Alberta is eligible.

Participation in the Surge Youth Sports Partnership is free. All tickets must be purchased. Fundraising applies only to individual purchases through your club’s custom link. Experiences are based on participation and availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed. The Surge may modify or cancel components of the
Program at any time. By participating, your club agrees to follow all venue, safety, and conduct guidelines.
