Program Overview
The Calgary Surge Event Operations & Fan Experience Crew offers hands-on experience in professional sports and live events. Staff work in a fast-paced arena environment supporting home games and select team events across operations, fan experience, activations, and merchandise.

This is a hands-on, team-first role where reliability, punctuality, and communication matter. Shifts are assigned based on business needs, availability, training, and performance.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re dependable, professional, and team-first. You communicate clearly, work well under pressure, and are ready to contribute in a fast-paced, fan-facing environment. You take pride in strong execution and understand that great game days come from doing the details well.

Students, aspiring sports professionals, and anyone looking to be part of an exciting live event environment are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Support game day setup, teardown, and overall event readiness
- Assist with fan experience, guest wayfinding, in-game promotions, and activations
- Help with merchandise operations, including booth setup, restocking, and customer support
- Work across teams as needed to help deliver a smooth, professional game day
Compensation
Hourly rate communicated during the hiring process.
This is a casual, event-based role with non-guaranteed hours. Shift opportunities are assigned based on operational needs, availability, training completion, reliability, punctuality, and performance.
